1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4
{I have found that this is quite solid for most openings.(e4 Nf3 Bc4)} 3...Nf6 ? +=
{I found a refutation for this move over the board!} 4.e5! 1 4...Ne4 5.d3!
5...Nxf2 6.Kxf2 e6 7.Re1 Nd4
8.Nxd4 cxd4 9.Kg1 d6 10.exd6
Qxd6 11.Qf3 Be7 12.Bf4 Qb6
13.Na3 !?
{a loose move.It would be better to play Bb3.} 13...Qxb2 14.Nb5 Qxc2?
{This is what happens if you move to fast.} 15.Nc7+ Kf8
{good move.takes the king from the center.} 16.Nxa8 Bb4
{not the best move.attacking the rook gives a feeling of security subconciously, but doesn't do anything to help black}17.Rec1 Qa4??
{loses beyond repair.} 18.Bb5 Qxb5 19.Rxc8+ Ke7
20.Rxh8 Bc3 21.Rf1

my take ...
1.e4 c5
2.Nf3 Nc6
3.Bc4 ( we have all seen this befor .. )
3...Nf6 ?? (brutal loss of time , better would be e6) 4.e5 ( takes advantage of the loss in time ) 4...Ne4??? ( gives the knight away .. better wouldl be Ng8)
5. d3 ( wins the knight for a pawn )
5...Nxf2?! ( better is d5 !)
6 . Kxf2 e6
7. Re1 Nd4 ??? ( black is seriously underdeveloped and needs to release his bishops not trade knights .. clearly black is trying to be agressive but with one peice and while hes down ? hes just speeding up the loss ... better is d5 .)
8. Nxd4 ?! ( why take his knight .. if he takes yours you can develop with the queen , a better use of time would be a developing move , perhaps Nc3 .) 8... Cxd4
9. Kg1 ? (sure you move out of the center but this can be accomplished later . better is c3 to assist your knight in development .)
9...d6 ?! (much too passive d5 ! is in order , if en passent a developing bishop retake helps catchup in lost time . )
10 . Exd6 ? ( another loss in time for white .. much more aggressive is a developing Bf4)
10...Qxp ?? (black needs security in his game .. much better is Bxp )
11.Qf3 Be7
12. Bf4 Qb6
13. Na3 ??? ( better is Bb3 )
13....Qxp? ( better is Bd7)
14. Nb5 ! ( increasing the pressure on blacks defence )
14....Qxp ???? ( this is infact the game losing move .. pawn grabbing in such a situation .. might as well stop playing if your not going to put up a fight with 0-0 )
15. Nc7+ Kf8
16. Nxa8 !? ( sure your gaining your fruits of your labour .. but Rf1 is much more appropriate at this time since the rook cannot escape anyways ... go for the king . )
16....Bb4 ?? (terrible .. uselessly attacking the rook causing the trade of his queen for material with ..17. Rac1 Qa4 18. Bb5 Qxb5 19. Rxc8+ Ke7 20. Re5 Rxc8 21. Rxb5 .... much better is 16...Qa4)
17.Rec1 ( better was Rac1 )
17 ..Qa4 ?? ( better is Qb2 losing only a bishop hehe !!)
18. Bb5 Qxb5
19. Rc8+ Ke7
20 . RxR Bc3 ???( i guess it doesnt really matter at this point . )
21. Rf1 ? ( better is Nc7 .. surely he would save his queen ? )
hope this helps ya .

1.e4 c5
2.Nf3 Nc6
3.Bc4 Nf6
4.e5 [4.Nc3] Ne4 [4...d5]
5.d3 [5.Bd5] Nxf2 [5...d5! if 6.Bb3, c4 or Bb5 Qa5+]
6.Kxf2 e6 [still d5 looks better to open that c8 bishop]
7.Re1 Nd4 [look at black's terrible bishops, the knight is the only developed piece other than pawns. a win for white]
8.Nxd4 cxd4
9.Kg1 [no attack yet, Qg4 or c3] d6 [what's wrong with d5]
10.exd6 [Bf4 develop another bishop] Qxd6 [should take with bishop]
11.Qf3 Be7
12.Bf4 [not really good 'cause 12...Qb4] Qb6
13.Na3 [Bb4] Qxb2
14.Nb5 Qxc2 [should castles, now should resigns]
15.Nc7+ Kf8
16.Nxa8 Bb4
17.Rec1 Qa4
18.Bb5 Qxb5
19.Rxc8+ Ke7
20.Rxh8 Bc3
21.Rf1

Refutation?
1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.e5 d5 and Black stands well (5.Bb5 Nd7).

brunetti,
doesn't black get horrible pawn structure, even if he does get the two bishops?(exf6)
brunetti
♡ 50 ( +1 | -1 )
No.
After 5.exf6 dxc4 6.fxg7 Bxg7 Black has the 2 Bishops, the open g file and developement advantage. Furthermore, White should move his d pawn to compete the developement (quite mandatory), after that cxd3 follows and the player with the ruined structure is only White.
If 6.fxe7 Black can play ...Qxe7+ (Bxe7 seems OK too), 7.Qe2 Bg4! and White Kingside is in great danger of destruction.
6.other lose a pawn.
This is my opinion: I can't find the line in books.

Bb4 4.Nf3 c5 5.Bf4 Ne4 6.Qc2
d5 7.e3 Nc6 8.O-O-O Nxc3
9.bxc3 Ba3+ 10.Kb1 Na5??
{this loses the game.} 11.Qa4+ Bd7 12.Qxa3 Qb6+
13.Qb2 Qc6 ?!
{now the Q is chased around.} 14.Ne5 Qa6 15.cxd5 c4
16.Nxd7 Kxd7 17.dxe6+ fxe6
18.Qb4 b5 19.Rd2 Nc6?
{now White wins.} 20.Qd6+ Ke8 21.Qxe6+ Kd8
22.Bg5+ {better is g5.} 22...Kc7
23.Bf4+ {again g5 is better.}
23...Kd8 24.d5!
{finally.black resigns.} 1-0
